We all need support through the most important period of our children: the early years
At our program we believe every child is a unique,all children that come from various challenges in their daily lives should have access to a facility that can facilitate positive learning experience. Children with “Special Needs” require daycare for the same reason that all children do: to grow, to develop, to learn, to build friendships, social play, cognitive and gross motor development.
Our Program will give importance to inclusion for all children in the program
That will be done by collaborating with external partners that can provide support and training to our educators . Our program will have support from I AM FOR KIDS TEAM,Providence, Renfrew, Grit ,Asap ( when we need too ) that gives our children an opportunity to be tested for any delays in their growth of any capacity. This will help our educators to work cohesively with the children to provide a safe environment that benefits the children who will have needs and require additional support.
Each kid will be the focus of daily activities that are organized, with some requiring a more customized approach.
Our ECE will respect the child's differences
We will design activities that allow them to participate, and we’ll put sign language posters in our classroom so that kids of all skill levels may feel appreciated and given equal opportunities.
A child may learn something uplifting and constructive to use in their life when they are introduced to others who might have extraordinary needs and hear stories of coping.
We strongly believe whatever the child’s ability, age, gender, ethnic/origin, religion, impairment, status, or economic background all need to be included into everyday learning situations.

Our educators can make considerations for children's with exceptional needs.
Our educators can follow few steps where they can be considerate to children with exceptional needs such as: Our program will use screening tool to identify the milestones of growth and development like NDDS checklist and we have some resources print out to make a reference for our staff can go through at My health. Alberta. ca to go with the process and make a checklist of milestones at each age group.
- Try to approach the child as you would be their friends , with respect and kindness
- Our educators will learn about the child's disability and be well informed
- Talk to the child even if they can't answer back, they definitely understand positive approach and kindness
Our program recognize and value diversity.
By fostering a cultural community, our educators will acknowledge variety by recognising, for instance, a kid who has a physical delay. Our teachers can plan a circle time during which they will tell a well-known person's tale, like Terry Fox
